Huawei Ascend G510, Y300 Specifications, Price – up for Pre-order

Another well known Chinese smartphone manufacturer ‘Huawei’ has recently made available its two new Android Jelly Bean powered smartphones G510 & Y300 for burgeoning Indian mobile market and now both of these handsets can be spotted on one of the popular Indian e-shopping website “Flipkart.com” for pre-order. Huawei has introduced both these two new smartphone in budget smartphone segment where other smartphone makers like Samsung, Micromax, Karbonn and other Chinese brands are battling for space these days. One point to note here is that both these huawei phones are not dual-sim devices, as many people assume from the likes of Micromax, Karbonn or Lava, etc.

Huawei is rolling out its two forthcoming Android smartphones with Jelly Bean pre-installed by the 1st week of this month which according to the market analysts would be a major selling point and these two devices are coming packed with lucrative features. Huawei Ascend G510 features a 4.5 inch screen with 16Million color, FWVGA LCD touchscreen display with a resolution of 480×854 pixels. 1.2GHz Qualcomm ARM Cortex A5 Dual Core processor and 512MB of RAM will power this Android Jelly Bean smartphone. It also comes with 1GB of internal storage that can be expanded to up to 32GB via external microSD card. The device sports a 5 Megapixel auto-focus rear camera with LED flash and a front facing 0.3 Megapixel VGA camera. This phone includes a 1700mAh battery under its hood which is capable of giving 5 hrs of talk time & 320 hrs of standby time. It supports A-GPS, DLNA, USB v2.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth v2.1, Huawei’s widgets and etc. G510 is now listed for pre-booking on Flipkart at the price of Rs 10,990/- INR.

The other handset Huawei Ascend Y300 is a budget smartphone which is priced less than G510 and comes with decent features at the price of Rs 7,980/- INR listed on Flipkart for pre-order. Y300 sports a 4 inch display with 16Million color, WVGA LCD touchscreen display with a resolution of 480×800 pixels. The processor that empowers Y300 is a 1GHz Qualcomm ARM Cortex A5 Dual Core processor and stuffed with 512MB of RAM. Y300 is one of the few Android smartphone available in the market that comes with Jelly Bean out of the box at this low price. It does have 1GB of internal storage that is expandable further up to 32GB via external microSD card. This low cost beauty offers a 5 Megapixel auto-focus camera with LED flash support and a VGA 0.3 Megapixel front shooter. This device has 1730mAh battery to feed itself which also promises to serve 5 hrs of talk time and 320 hrs of standby time. It also has features such as A-GPS, DLNA, USB v2.0, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n), Bluetooth v2.1, Huawei’s widgets and etc.

Both of these handsets are packed with decent features & specs and priced sensibly for the budget smartphone lovers according to our preview.
