Samsung Galaxy Win Duos Price Announced, Released in India

Announced in the first week of April, Samsung Galaxy Win is now available in India and it is priced at Rs. 18,300 INR. On flipkart, it’s priced at Rs.17,900 although the smartphone is in out of stock status. So, at about Rs.18k, Samsung Galaxy Win appears to be worthy mid-range device which is performance-operative at the same time as Galaxy Win has 1.2GHz quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. Of course, the processor seems impressive on paper, but it’s based on Cortex-A5 architecture so don’t expect this processor to be of the same power as those quad-cores equipped in high-end handsets. It has Adreno 203 GPU. Nonetheless, the chipset make this smartphone a good performer at the price at which it is marked to sell. Another interesting feature is that it is dual sim phone with dual standby support. So, this phone directly competes with Micromax Canvas HD which also has quad-core processor and 1GB RAM along with dual-sim capabilities.galaxy-win

  • The display is of 4.7-inch with pixel density of 199ppi as the resolution is 480*800 pixels.
  • It has internal storage of 8gb with support for external memory card.
  • It has two cameras – 5mp primary camera which can shoot HD videos, vga camera on the front.
  • It has 2000mAh battery and it comes with Android 4.1.2 JB OS.

If you’re asking our opinion, Samsung Galaxy Win is a worthy device in medium-budget smartphone segment. It’s a good handset for performance and gaming. We expect good benchmark scores as well. Unless, we’re able to review this handset personally, we can’t comment much at this moment, but based on its specifications, we don’t see any other similar alternative available in the market from reputed brands like HTC, Sony, Samsung, LG, etc. Of course, if you’re open to domestic companies like Micromax, Lava, Karbonn, etc, you get plethora of choices, but if you wanna stick to international mainstream brands, Galaxy Win appears to be worthy sell. Dual sim capabilities make this phone more considerable in India.
