For quite sometime, we’ve been witnessing leaked images and other details of the upcoming phablet known as HTC One Max. It’s purported to be HTC’s answer to Samsung’s Note 3, but as per the tweet of credible tipster evleaks, the upcoming phablet is housing Snapdragon S4 Pro APQ8064 chipset clocked at 1.7GHz. Hence, the processor seems to be downer here especially as the world has moved on to Snapdragon 600/800 chipset for high-end handsets. This is unlike Samsung’s Note 3 which sports the best of specs on every front starting from chipset, RAM to camera, etc.

HTC One Max Release Date
The release date of HTC One Max is not confirmed but we’re expecting October release. Till then enjoy the leaked info and rumors. Note that it is sporting the same design as the flagship HTC One smartphone. It also comes with front stereo speakers with boomsound and beats audio enhancement. We hope the processor info turns out to be false as a device as huge like this require more processing power and therefore Snapdragon 800 would be more apt choice of chipset for this phablet than Snapdragon S4 pro. Also, we do not see any space or provision of stylus anywhere in the body, hinting that HTC might not bundle ‘Note3’s S-pen’ like stylus.
