Samsung has officially launched Galaxy Core android phone in two variants – single SIM, Dual SIM with dual standby; as is the usual case with Samsung’s not-flagship phone series. This is supposed to be mid-range android smartphone with dual-core processor, 1GB RAM, 5 megapixel primary camera, 4.3 inch screen. Depending upon the market type, either of the two variants will be launched.
4.3-inch dispay has wvga resolution (800*480 pixels), which has now become standard on non-flagship Samsung galaxy series phones in such a way that we don’t even need to look at any new Samsung phone’s screen resolution, we just know the exact pixels count!
It comes with latest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS along with Samsung’s software tweaks like Smart Stay, S Voice, Motion UI, etc. The dual core cpu and 1GB RAM makes galaxy core good on the performance front. The camera is of 5mp which is good as it also has LED Flash but it can not capture HD videos. The camera can record 480p videos only. So, if you’re looking for good camera phone, Galaxy Core may not be your best choice. There is 0.3mp front camera as well so that you can enjoy video-calling or self-shooting. Since this is 3G android smartphone (of course, 3G is available on first sim card only for dual-sim variant), you can even make cellular 3G video-call.The camera also comes with several smart modes like cartoon, panaroma, smile shot, share shot, etc. For apps and games, there is internal storage of 8GB, but the user-available will be much less. You can add to its storage capacity by inserting external micro-sd card of upto 64GB. Bluetooth version is 3.0, which is not the latest. The battery capacity is good, though as it has 1800 milliampere-hour (mAh) battery.

Galaxy Core Price, Release Date
The price of Galaxy Core is not yet announced, but we’ll soon find out because Galaxy Core Duos will soon arrive in market as per official words, while the single sim variant will be released in July. Analyzing its specs, we arrive on the conclusion that Galaxy Core Duos is launched to fill up the void between S Duos and Grand Duos, which further indicate us that the price will be supposedly in-between the two mentioned handsets i.e. we’re looking at handset priced about 13k-16k INR. Furthermore, Galaxy Core Duos specs also resemble a lot with Galaxy S Advance phone. As per user’s feedback, Galaxy S Advance’s Jelly Bean Update has not been stable or reliable; so those new phone buyers who’ve Galaxy S Advance in their mind may want to wait a while to get this phone instead, as this comes with latest Samsung’s software features along with dual-sim capabilities.
