Sony Xperia Z, ZL Specification, Price, Release Date

AT CES 2013, a lot of drama happened. Along with that, few cool and exciting unveiling took place. The rumored Sony Yuga phone turned out to be Z series. The specs of this upcoming phone defines the type of hardware we’ll witness in best android phones of 2013. Sony has launched gorgeous 5-inch Xperia Z jelly bean android phone with display of Full HD resolution. Apart from its vivid and brilliant display, this Xperia Z phone is water-proof. Presented as flagship android phone from Sony, Xperia Z features high-end hardware specifications, like quad core processor, 2GB of RAM, ample internal storage, NFC, WiFi, 3G, 4G, Bluetooth, etc. Moreover, the rear megapixel is a mega 13 megapixel shooter and the fron one is 2mp camera. Both the cameras are capable of shooting 1080p videos. Sony also launched Xperia ZL, which is almost similar to Xperia Z with minor variation. Xperia ZL is not resistant to water. What’s weird is the placement of front camera in Sony Xperia ZL (See the image above of ZL. It is located at the bottom-right of the phone – I don’t understand why Sony did that?). Sony Xperia Z, ZL Price, Release Date

The release date of Sony Xperia Z is not announced nor the release date of Sony Xperia ZL, but both the handsets are scheduled to arrive in market by March, 2013. We’ve also heard that Sony is targeting different markets for their two handsets. The price of Sony Xperia Z will be little higher than the price of Sony Xperia ZL – although we’ve no idea of what the price might be. The price will be higher for sure as the price of Xperia Z will determine the price of other upcoming high-end handsets from HTC, Samsung. So, we think that the price will be close to the new expected price model by various phone manufacturers for top-notch android handsets of 2013. We’ve observed that the pricing of these kinds of handsets every new year falls in a certain range. So, from the price of Xperia Z, you can understand the pricing of future upcoming flagship phones from Samsung or other companies.

So, Xperia Z really seems to be the best android phone in the market, but who knows – how fast time changes, especially when the world is expecting Samsung Galaxy S4 to be revealed really soon.
