Swipe Telecom is not a very known player yet in Indian market, but the company is gradually launching more mobile products to get a fair piece of low-cost budget phone/tablet market in India. So, they’ve launched Swipe Halo Value dual sim android tablet. There was a time in India when even single-sim card supporting tablet was priced high, but these days, we’re getting tablets with dual-sim capabilities, although 3G is not supported on any of the sim-card in Swipe Halo tablet, but it does support GPRS/EDGE internet. I also wonder how dual-sim support makes sense on tablet, or if these companies have presumed that the consumer might use the tablet as additional phone/phablet. Anyways, let’s quickly check out all the specifications and raw power of Swipe Halo Tablet. 

Swipe Halo Value tablet has 1.5GHz processor (single core), 512mb RAM (as expected from cheap android tablet), 2mp rear camera and 0.3mp front camera, 4GB internal memory, 3400mAh battery. WiFi, Bluetooth is also there. It’s a 7-inch tablet and the screen resolution is 800*480 pixels (WVGA). The display is capacitive with multitouch support. With accelerometer and G sensor, you can use this tablet for gaming as well. So, the specifications are almost similar to other tablets offering similar features and so expect the price to be almost similar as well. This tablet has android Jelly Bean OS 4.1 which is another plus point. Swipe Halo Value tablet is priced at Rs 6,990. It also comes with free premium leather sleeve. At the given price and specification, it closely matches Penta T-Pad WS708C tablet launched by Pantel technologies which releases tablets in India in co-partnership with BSNL.
